SMG created the event to raise funds and to highlight Suicide Prevention Services’ (SPS) message- respect and cherish your life, and through music and dance, promoting young people to maintain physical and mental health through participation in charitable activities, the release of positive energy, positive and optimistic outlook on life challenges.
Hong Kong Dance Marathon 2011
The 9-hour long "Hong Kong Dance Marathon 2011" was staged on November 19, 2011 at East Point City, Tseung Kwan O.
Professional dance instructors led participants to dance different dances in each hour.
To boost awareness of SPS and to Promote positive thinking, "Hong Kong Dance Marathon - Inter-School Competition was held to allow students from different schools to compete for the Championship of Inter-School Competition.
